Lifetime Upgrade Program

At Top Rate Diamonds we want to retain you as a customer for life, so we offer a lifetime upgrade program on any certified loose diamonds and stud earrings that you purchase from us. Most online and retail jewelers only offer between 50 to 70% of the original purchase price, but we offer a full credit.

  • Receive 100% credit of the original purchase price.
  • Price of the new diamond or earrings must be 100% more than the purchase price of the original item.
  • Diamonds must be in original condition and accompanied by the original lab certificate as well as a copy of the sales receipt.
  • Call customer service at 1-888-776-2607 to upgrade your diamond.

Lifetime Warranty

Top Rate Diamonds offers a lifetime warranty on all our jewelry.  Warranty on jewelery covers any defects in craftsmanship for the life of the jewel as long as it has been well maintained.  Our master jewelers and gemologists will inspect your jewelery, and if it is found to be defective due to craftsmanship we will cover all repair and shipping charges. However, if the problem is not due to craftsmanship you may incur a charge for shipping and repair. Any alterations to the jewelry voids this warranty, unless the alterations were performed by Top Rate Diamonds.

This warranty does not cover loss or damage of diamonds. We strongly encourage you to insure your diamond against theft, loss, or damage.

Payments

  • We accept all major credit cards (VISA, AMEX, DISCOVER, MASTERCARD).
  • We accept cash, wire transfers, and personal checks. We offer a 2% discount off the credit card price for all cash payments. Products will be shipped after the payment clears.

Sales Tax

There is no sales tax on purchases made outside the state of Georgia.

Shipping

  • Shipping is free within the United States. We ship using Federal Express Standard Overnight Delivery and all shipments are fully insured.
  • Insurance expires upon delivery. Make sure that you do not have a signature release on file with Federal Express or the package may be left on your doorstep and will not be insured against loss or theft.
  • Fed-Ex will not deliver to a P.O. Box, however packages can be held for pickup at at Fed-Ex locations.
  • A phone number is required for delivery to residential locations.
  • In case your purchase is a surprise, the word “diamonds” will not appear on the package.
  • Non-purchase transactions may be subject to shipping, handling, and transportation insurance charges.

Return and Exchange Policies

Top Rate Diamonds issues full refunds and credits on returns and exchanges:

  • All natural diamonds and stock jewelry may be returned within 14 days for a full refund.
  • All natural diamonds and stock jewelry may be exchanged within 30 days.
  • Custom designed jewelry and special order items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  • Laser inscription fees are non-refundable.
  • Items must be returned in original unused condition and accompanied by the original laboratory certificate if one was included with the shipment.
  • Upon receipt of the items, Top Rate Diamonds will issue a refund in the same method as the original payment, with the exception of bank wires which are refunded via a company check.

If you would like to return or exchange a product please contact our customer service department before shipping anything back.  The customer service department will issue you a Purchase Return Number and send or e-mail you a shipping label. Upon receipt of the label follow these instructions:

  1. Write the PRN on a copy of your receipt.
  2. Place all items, certificates, and a copy of your invoice in a padded Fed-Ex envelope and seal it.
  3. Place the padded envelope inside a Fed-Ex cardboard box, seal it, and place the shipping label on the box. IMPORTANT: Items must be shipped using a Fed-Ex
  4. cardboard box in order to be insured.  Failure to do so means the package will not be insured and the customer will bear full responsibility for any loss or damage to  the items.
  5. Attach the shipping label to the box and deliver it to a Fed-Ex drop-off location.
  6. We will inform you by e-mail upon receipt of the package and issue you a refund.

Privacy Policy

Top Rate Diamonds will never sell, give away, or otherwise misuse your personal information. All information submitted to this site will be used solely for processing your orders and communicating with you about our company. On occasion we may opt to send out promotional material concerning Top Rate Diamond sales, specials, or other events. You may, at any time, opt not to receive such information in the future. The only time Top Rate Diamonds will disclose personal information is when required to by law or with the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the law.
